Goshen School had a special assembly this week put on by Tara Osborn and her Foothill Cloggers. It was lots of fun for our students to see their friends show off their talent.

Don't forget about the Education Fair coming up! There is still time for your students to start their projects! Students can pick and research a project from the following categories: Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies. The schedule for the Education Fair is as follows:
Monday March 21st: Language Arts submissions are due in the office.
Monday, March 28th: Sign up to speak with the judges (sign ups are in the office)
Please don't forget to sign up for SEP's! This will be the last SEP of the year. They will be held tomorrow night (Wednesday, March 16th). The link for sign ups are below. It's important to sign up for a time and not just to show up, so you are guaranteed a time to sit with the teacher.

Carrie Norton was nominated and voted by her colleagues to be 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year. She teaches 4th grade and has been at Goshen Elementary for 8 years. When asked why Mrs. Norton received this honor, Mrs. DeGraffenried, our pricipal stated:
This Month's Students of the Month were picked for displaying teamwork. Thanks kids for being a team player in your class!
Goshen students participated in the Read Across America read-a-thon on Wednesday. All classes took an hour out of their day to give the kids some time to read. Some classes came in their comfy pajama's, some brought their pillows and blankets to relax on and some brought treats to enjoy while they read.
In celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday, Goshen students dressed up as their favorite Dr. Seuss character. We had lots of Cat in the Hats, some Things One and Twos and even some Cindy Lou Whos. Mrs. DeGraffenried even came to school as the Cat in the Hat. Some of our classes made Cat in the Hat masks, made their own Sneetch, and played pin the heart on The Grinch. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss! Thank you for all of the imagination building stories you gave us!
