It's almost mid-term which means it's time for SEP's! They will be this coming Wednesday (December 2nd). Please make sure that you sign up for a time on our SEP sign up page found here http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e44aaac2babfb6-sepconference . Please make sure while you are at the school that you check our lost and found bin for anything that might belong to your child. Anything left after SEP's will be donated to charity.
Don't forget about our food drive going on this week! All food donated will be given to families in our area that are in need over the holidays. If your student brings in 10 or more non-perishable food items by Friday, and take them to the office, they will receive a token and a special spirit stick. Thank you in advance for helping us with this food drive!
On Wednesday, the 2nd grade and 6th grade honored our local Veterans by performing an excellent Veteran's Day Program. It included a slide show, a special video and a light show put on by the students themselves. They have worked very hard for the past 6 weeks to make this special, and they did a great job! Thanks to the Student Council who helped behind the scenes. Goshen Elementary would like to say a special THANKS to all of those who have served in the Armed Forces, whether in the past or right now, for working so hard to keep our country free!
The following are the Students of the Month for September and October. September's Students of the Month were chosen for being Responsible, and the October's Students of the Month were chosen for having Self-Discipline. We want to congratulate those students for working hard and earning their reward!
The 2nd and 6th grade classes will be celebrating Veteran's Day with a program honoring those that serve and protect our country. The program will be on Wednesday, Novebmer 11th in the gym. They will be performing twice that day, once at 9:30 am for the the school and again at 6:30 for the community. If you or a loved one is a Veteran, please join us for this special presentation. It will be a night filled with song and thanks for those who fight to keep our country free.
