Local author, J. Scott Savage, author of the book series Case File 13, Far World and Mysteries of Cove visited Goshen School on Thursday.  He came and talked to the students about how their creativity can change the world.  He told them stories about children who have changed the world with one little idea.  He included the stories of Alexandria Scott, the founder of Alex's Lemonade Stand, who has raised over $150 million to fund childhood cancer research and Malala Yousafzai, the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, which she received at just 16 years old.  Scott then talked to the students about finding their own creativity, where he helped our students tell a short story that they came up with on the spot.  It was so fun to hear the students' ideas, and the way that Mr. Savage took those ideas and turned it into a fun and exciting story!

We would like to thank Mr. Savage and his wife for traveling to Goshen School and sharing his talent with our students!
