Students and Parents from Goshen School had a great morning on Saturday when they participated in our First Annual Goshen Kids' Marathon.  The weather cooperated while the group ran the last 1.2 miles of their marathon!  Once the race was over, and the kids had received their medals, breakfast was served.  It was a great time, and we look forward to doing it again next year!

A couple of weeks ago, our 6th graders held a vote, and elected their 7th Grade Representatives for next year.  The canditates were required to write a speech about why they would make a good representative for the 7th graders coming to Mt. Nebo Jr. High from Goshen.  After they candiates gave their speeches, all students in the 6th grade voted on the two peers that they thought would represent them the best next year.

The Second grade had a great experience on a Walking Field Trip.  The students left the school on Thursday, May 10 with their science notebooks in tow.  Students made observations of spring and uses of  water while walking from the School to the Goshen Rodeo Grounds.  At the rodeo grounds they had stick horse races.  They then went up to the Goshen Baseball Field where they played a game of kickball.  After a competitive game, students Walked to the Goshen Church Pavilion where they enjoyed lunch and games on the grass.  What a great day!
