As of April 1, 2018, we have spent approximately $26,000 of our budget for this school year.  The money has been spent on technicians to help tutor students in reading using Early Steps, Next Steps and Imagine Learning (software program).  We also hired a math technician.  She coaches our Mathlete and Mathlete Junior programs.  She also works with students individually and in small groups. We have also spent approximately $1,000.00 on substitute teachers for Reading Benchmark Assessments and professional development for grade level teams to work collaborative.

Two of Goshen's fifth graders, Cameron Barber and Hyatt Bagley, along with their Debate Coach, Mr. Hunt, attended and competed in the Nebo School District Debate Competition earlier this month.  This is the first year that Goshen School has had a debate team, and the boys did a great job!  A big thank you goes to Mr. Hunt for teaching them the basics of debate!  We can't wait to see how they do next year!
