Goshen School Art Gallery

Submitted by krista.openshaw on

Did you know that Goshen School has an art gallery? It is located in the front lobby of the school. Each month, a different grade will be in charge of providing student work to display in our gallery. This month, the 5th grade students did some spooky/fall art work for October. Mrs. Haines' class painted pumpkins using water colors, and Mrs. Openshaw's class had Mr. Atkin come and paint snakes with them, using water color. They also made haunted houses using mixed media.

Meet Ms. Adams! She is one of our awesome 3rd grade teachers here at Goshen School.  Ms. Adams has been at our school for six years. Her first year here, she taught 4th grade, and has taught 3rd grade the rest of the time.

Ms. Adams has an older sister and a younger brother and she has three nieces and two nephews, who she loves SO MUCH! She loves hanging out with her family and friends, going to the movies and going on walks.

Two interesting things about Ms. Adams is that she is left handed and has never had a broken bone!

Meet Mrs. Haines, one of our 5th grade teachers! This is her third year teaching at Goshen School, and she says that she LOVES it!  She and her husband just built a home in Santaquin. She said she is blessed to have the most supportive husband, Peter. He is in his final semester of school to become a journeyman plumber. They also just welcomed their baby girl, Emery, a year ago. Mrs. Haines says that Emery is the most feisty/stubborn thing you'll ever meet.
