6th Grade Students Graduate From the NOVA Program

Tuesday was a special day for the 6th graders because they finished, and graduated from the NOVA program.  We were lucky to have Deputy Taylor, from the Utah County Sheriffs Department, come visit us every Friday to talk about the NOVA Principles, and the NOVA theme "Illuminating the Path to Excellence".  He talked to the students about the effects of drugs, alcohol, tobacco and bullying on their lives.  The students learned so many important things during the weeks that Deputy Taylor visited us, and we are all so grateful that he was willing to come out to Goshen for our stu

Spirit decided to play hide and seek a little bit early this week because of Christmas!  Where was he caught hiding?  Go place your guess at the office, and a winner will be announced on Wednesday!

Character Day

On Friday, the students were asked to dress up as their favorite Christmas characters.  There were many signtings of Santa, Rudolph and their friends around the halls that day!  We would like to thanks the student counsel for a fun filled week!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Day

To bring the fun of the holidays to Goshen School, the kids and teachers wore their ugliest, or most Chrismas-y sweaters to school on Wednesday!  We saw everything from blinking Christmas lights, to ornaments to tinsel!  Even the ugliest ones were awesome!
