Our PTA is currently holding their fundraiser, which will conclude on Monday with a Movie Night at the school. You can currently bid on baskets that have been put together by the PTA (with items graciously donated by families from our school) or come to the office and buy bags of delicious apples put together by the PTA for $5.00. On Monday, a free movie (Mario Bros.) will be shown in the gym at 5:30, with concessions being sold throughout the movie. If you have any questions, please contact the front office.

Halloween is always a day that the kids look forward to. This year was no different. We had a zoo full of teachers, with a zookeeper keeping them all at bay, while little ghosts and goblins roamed the hallways. Enjoy some pictures from this fun filled day!

The third grade classes were honored to participate in the annual Apple Crunch Event hosted by Fower's Fruit Ranch in Genola and the Child Nutrition Program for the Utah State Board of Education. We were able to learn all about the process of growing, harvesting, and packing apples. We were even given an opportunity to participate in our own Farmer's Market where each student was able to pick some fruit to take home!

Kindergarten Goes on a Field Trip

Our Goshen Kindergarten classes had a great time on October 11th on their field trip to Jaker's Pumpkin Patch.  Students enjoyed their first field trip and for many their first bus ride.  Students had a great time at the haunted cave, corn pit, petting zoo, hay ride, and the giant slides.  We played hard and walked away with corn hiding everywhere!  It was a day to remember for all!

Last week was the last week of Hispanic Heritage Month, and the PTA provided a DELICIOUS lunch for the teachers! We were treated to Mole, Tres Leches cake, Chips and Pico de Gallo, Tacos, Bean dip, Home made refried beans (two varieties), Salsa, Sopa fria, Birria, Amarillito, Salsa and chips, Red Rice, and wonderful Hispanic candy. We know how much time it takes to volunteer to provide food, help in our classes and donate your time, and the teachers and staff would like all of our parents know that it is truly appreciated!
