Goshen Elementary is the BOMB!

Today was the kick off for our Health and Safety Week! Most of our students and faculty showed up in RED! We also had a visit from the firefighters of Goshen! They talked with the students about fire safety, what to do if there is a fire, and their special gear. Firefighter Cindy also talked about how kids don't need to be afraid of the firefighters when they are in their big gear, they are our best friends and are there to help. It was an awesome presentation! We are lucky to have awesome community members that are involved and support our students' safety.

Speed Dating in the Library!

Submitted by courtney.adams on Tue, 02/19/2019 - 16:39

Our awesome librarian, Mrs. Staheli, helped open the students' eyes to new books last week! She had a "Speed Date a Book" activity during the week of Valentines. The students had about a minute to check out each book. They were also given paper to take notes and titles down so they could go back and find them. Goshen students are lucky to have Mrs. Staheli in the library!

A special THANK YOU to our HOPE Squad, their advisor Mrs. Openshaw, and Mrs. DeGraffenried. They are helping our school to be full of kindness!
