5th Grade Holds Wax Museum

Submitted by krista.openshaw on

Earlier in December, the 5th grade participated in the first Wax Museum held at Goshen School.  Each student chose a famous American to research and write a speech about.  Then, on December 5th, they dressed in a costume representing their famous American and we held a wax museum for parents and students to attend.  It was so much fun to see the different people that the students were interested in learning about, and what interesting information that the students found out about their person.  We are looking forward to seeing what next year's fifth graders do!

Imagine Learning (a software program to help build vocabulary, sight words and reading comprehension in our students) held a contest in November.  They were looking for students throughout the state of Utah that logged the most minutes on Imagine Learning.

One of our Kindergarten students was a winner!  She logged over 240 minutes in November!  Mrs. Benson, Imagine Learning Representative, presented Katie with her new kindle at our Falcon Pride Assembly!

Way to go Katie!!!
