Third Grade Show Us What They Know

Submitted by krista.openshaw on

During our BIG Assembly for December (it was held in January), the third graders were able to show the school something that they've been working on.  They have been working really hard on learning their multiplication facts (thanks to their awesome teachers, Mrs. Barber and Mrs. Larsen), and they showed the school some different beats that they use to help them remember the facts.  They did a great job!  Thanks for sharing that with us!

December Ambassadors of the Month

Submitted by krista.openshaw on

The students who were honored by both their teachers and bus drivers for being the Ambassadors of the month for December, were announced when school resumed in January.  These students were picked because they were helpful.  Congratulations to those who received this honor.  Both teachers and bus drivers rely on our helpful students.

Jump Rope for Heart Fundraiser

Yesterday, your student should have brought home a flyer and envelope for our Service Fundraiser for the American Heart Association.  They can collect funds from family and friends who are willing to donate.  All funds raised will go directly to the American Heart Association to help with research on heart health.  On the front flap of the donation envelope, you will find information on setting up an online site that your child can use to help send out emails to non-local family and friends, who can then donate online.
