On Monday, Goshen Elementary, our PTA and Goshen City hosted a health and safety fair for the surrounding communities. During school, the students were able to visit with and see some of our first responders in action. The highlight was being able to watch the U of U AirMed helicopter do a flyover and land in our back field. The kids were able to learn about K9 officers, the SWAT team, Animal Control, Search and Rescue, CSI, Mobile Command and 911. Later in the afternoon, after school was let out, it was open to the public, who was invited to come and learn about these departments, along with important information pertaining to things happening in the community. The PTA provided pizza and drinks for those in attendance. We want to say a HUGE thank you to Goshen City, Goshen PTA, Utah County Sheriff's Office, Utah Highway Patrol, Goshen Fire Department, Dominion Energy and everyone else that volunteered to help make this event a success!
