Goshen Elementary was invited to this month's the Nebo School District School Board meeting. To open up the meeting, 5th grader, Jovi Judd let the group in the Pledge of Allegiance. Mr. Atkin then told the board about some of the awesome things that our school and students have been doing, including our students outperforming 109 more schools in 2022 than we did in 2021 and that Goshen is the 13th most improved school in the state of Utah this year according to the Rise test.

Members of the 5th Grade Student Council then had the opportunity to speak.  Brielle Judd talked about being a part of the Student Council at Goshen Elementary is a lot of responsibility. Sophie Bylund talked about our theme "One home, one family" and what it means to our school and the community. Annsley Wall talked about being a good friend and supporting other students.

After the presentation, the 3rd graders treated the Board and the audience to their annual rendition of "Jingle Bells" using a cup rhythm. They were a little bit nervous, but did a great job!
