It is time again for our Art Festival. Our theme is "What Makes Me Happy". We will be accepting entries up until the end of the day, February 9th. Students can only enter one time. All of the art must be no thicker than a standard painting canvas. We will be accepting any artwork created by the student. Be sure to read the rules on the entry form, which can be picked up in the office. Remember to write your name on the back of your artwork so the judging is anonymous. Don't forget to fill out the entry form, especially the artist statement showing how your artwork represents the theme, and each piece of art must have a parent's signature for permission to enter the contest.
The winners of each grade level will receive art supplies and either a gold, silver, or bronze medal. There will be oil pastels, watercolor paint and paper, modeling clay, colored pencils, and chalk pastel prizes as well. The grand prize winner's artwork will be sent to the district office to be displayed. Photography will not be included in the contest this year. Please contact the office if you have any questions.
