Goshen students enjoy spending time at the Fall Carnival! Thanks goes out to the PTA, parents, and staff at Goshen Elementary! Our students were able to celebrate fall, being back in school, and find new friends.

Congratulations to these students for showing others they care. These students go above and beyond helping others. They are considerate of others' feelings, they are willing to be good friends, and people can always count on them to feel included.

School Community Council Elections
We currently have three (3) parent openings on our School Community Council. We appreciate the willingness of so many parents to serve this year. We will be holding elections for three days, September 19, 20 and 23. The ballots will be available in the office from 8-4 pm on those days.

Good-bye to Familiar Faces at Goshen School
Mr. Jim St. John
Mr. Jim St. John is retiring after spending 25 years as a School Psychologist . He grew up in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from High School, he had experiences working as a lineman on the US and Mexican border, being a bill collector where he was shot at a couple of times in California. At this point he came to the conclusion that there has to be a better way to make a living.

Goshen Elementary School would like to say good-bye to our wonderful 6th grade students. We also want to wish them good-luck this fall at Mt. Nebo Junior High School in Payson.
Thank you to Mrs. Allinson and the students who have served on the Student Council this year. They have given the school and community many hours of service. We have really appreciated their help with our school book exchange days, student control in the halls after school, and our school wide activities with posters.
