We're Remodeling!


During spring break the remodel on Goshen School will begin.  Safety fences will be put up to protect students from the construction.  The main doors will no longer be available to enter the school.  After spring break students and patrons will enter the school through the doors by the first grade classrooms.   The front office will be located in computer lab 1.  There will be signs posted to show the way.  

We are excited about the remodel. It will provide a safer entrance to our school, a much needed new roof, upgraded computer labs, teacher workroom and office area.  The remodel is scheduled to be completed by the first part of September.  We will post updates to the schedule on our Goshen website.

School Community Council Spring Progress Report 2017-2018

As of April 1, 2018, we have spent approximately $26,000 of our budget for this school year.  The money has been spent on technicians to help tutor students in reading using Early Steps, Next Steps and Imagine Learning (software program).  We also hired a math technician.  She coaches our Mathlete and Mathlete Junior programs.  She also works with students individually and in small groups. We have also spent approximately $1,000.00 on substitute teachers for Reading Benchmark Assessments and professional development for grade level teams to work collaborative. We have spent about $1000.00 for professional development for teachers to attend conferences on literacy, math, and student learning.
