We have been so fortunate the last couple of years to have a MATHLETE program! Mrs. Albright has been leading our 4th-6th graders in competitions during the year. They have worked so hard and learned many valuable skills. We had multiple students place in the top 50%! We are very proud of our students and thankful for Mrs. Albright.
Our 4th and 5th graders took us on a journey through dance! We went through books that they have enjoyed this year. It was so great to see their creativiity and expression come out during their dances. They worked so hard! A special thanks to their amazing teachers and Rachel Marie Kimball, our dance specialist.
The Goshen 2nd Graders went on a Walking Field Trip on Tuesday, May 14th. Students left the school after announcements and walked to the Goshen Baseball Fields while looking for evidence of spring, uses of water, and animals in their habitats. Classes then played an intense game of kickball. Students then walked to the Goshen Cemetery where they learned about cemetery etiquette. Students searched for different landmarks throughout the cemetery and enjoyed looking for the earliest birthday which turned out to be in the 1700's. Students then walked to the Goshen Church Pavilion where they enjoyed a sack lunch and bubbles. Students returned to the school exercised, enriched and exhausted. It was a great day in 2nd!
Congratulations to Goshen Elementary, in Nebo School District, and their school PR person, Courtney Adams, for earning the Nebo #Hashtag Award. This award is given to the school that communicates to their parents and students, in a variety of ways, the events and important news items happening at school. Goshen has posted over 15 stories a month. The school also has over 265 percent of their student enrollment connected on social media to get the latest news from the school.
Thank you for your support!
