For over 35 years, United Way of Utah County's Sub for Santa has coordinated with local schools and nonprofits to provide gifts for children in Utah County. These gifts include books, educational toys, and winter clothes. This is a temporary Christmas assistance program that assists families that are not getting help from anyone else. Sub for Santa goes beyond Christmas. We also help families with taxes, parenting support, and link them to other needed resources. Please see the attached flyer for additional information.  A huge thanks goes out to the United Way and their contributers for helping all children have a wonderful holiday!

Governor Gary Herbert has declared October as School Principal Recognition Month.  We agree with him, and believe that Mrs. DeGraffenried (and all of the other principals in our district) deserves to be recognized for everything she does for our students. Thanks Mrs. DeGraffenried! Below you will find the text of his declaration, along with a picture of the declaration itself...

Whereas, we recognize the outstanding elementary, middle level, and high school principals who have succeeded in providing high-quality learning opportunities for students;

Now, therefore, I, Gary R. Herbert, Governor of the great State of Utah, do hereby declare October 2020, as
