Goshen School Winter Reading Carnival

Excitement filled the air at the Goshen School Winter Reading Reward Carnival. Each student received reading reward tickets for their reading minutes from the beginning of the school year. Students were then able to spend their tickets on reading books, games and raffles. This was such a wonderful way to reward our students. One student shared with others that this was her funnest day ever! Thank you to our Principal Mrs. DeGraffenried and our support staff for making this event such a success!

Our first grade students were able to have a special visit from a princess. It was Miss. Jana Manookin, the Utah County Dairy Ambassador Princess. She talked to the students about agriculture and the dairy industry. She even taught the students about the different types of cows that she helps to milk each day at the Carter Dairy in Genola.
